Earthquake victims gathered daily here in 1994 sharing problems and hope, and finding nurture in its morning and lunchtime fare. Continuing as a local fave for pumpkin pancakes, and a variety of chilis and egg dishes, it expanded in space (taking over adjacent stores), locations (now three) and menu, recently adding respectable dinner offerings including chicken casadora.
