Put Melrose Ave into your GPS to navigate your way to the Groundlings Theatre, as the legendary comedy troupe takes the stage for an evening of family hijinks and hilarity.  The Groundlings Family Road Trip is the summer vacay you’ve been looking for – so bust out those old albums, crank up the music, and get ready for a memorable ride!

Director, Michael Naughton is in the driver’s seat navigating the hilarious cast including Michael Churven, Josh Duvendeck, Chris Eckert, Julian Gant, Heidi Gardner, Patty Guggenheim, Kiel Kennedy, Andrew Leeds, Emily Pendergast, and Lisa Schurga

Opening Night is Friday, July 20th at 8:00 p.m. Shows will run every Friday at 8:00 p.m. and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. through September 29.

Tickets for Opening Night are $50.00 and include two drink tickets. Tickets after opening night are $20.00    

The Groundlings Theatre is an improvisation and sketch comedy theatre that has been entertaining LA audiences for 42 years.  They are a non-profit organization founded by Gary Austin in 1974.  A “Groundling” is one of the 30 company members who write and perform in the theatre’s shows and teach classes at the Groundling’s School. The school has been the foremost comedy training ground in Hollywood and the springboard for countless careers including comic geniuses from film and television such as Jennifer Coolidge, Will Ferrell, Ana Gasteyer, Kathy Griffin, Cheryl Hines, Chris Kattan, Lisa Kudrow, Phil LaMarr, Jon Lovitz, Karen Maruyama, Melissa McCarthy, Michael McDonald, Paul Reubens, Maya Rudolph, Mindy Sterling and Kristen Wiig, among others.  In addition to being comedy performers, Groundlings members and alumni hold writing positions on many of Hollywood’s top television and film projects.

Parking Information You can valet on Poinsettia just north of Melrose. It’s about $7. You can park on Melrose (the meters run until 8pm) You can park on a side street. Read the signage. Some streets allow 2 hour
