LOS ANGELES (September 4, 2012) – Many of history’s great masterpieces call Los Angeles museums home and, this fall, the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board (LA Tourism) is turning the spotlight on the destination’s priceless artworks and exhibitions. During “Museums LA,” visitors who book two nights or more on for stays at any participating Los Angeles area hotel between October 1-November 11, 2012 receive two free admissions and museum store discounts at 30 participating museums.

(August 30, 2012) - Los Angeles is on pace for a record-breaking tourism year, officials with the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board (LA Tourism) announced today.  A mid-year forecast projects the destination will welcome 41.3 million visitors by year-end, 2.4 percent above the current record of 40.3 million visitors set in 2011.
