This Halloween season, Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood dares you to enter their iconic backlot for Horror Made Here, an incredible Halloween party where evil clowns, demon nuns, super villains, possessed dolls and the devil himself will come to life. Be prepared to face your deepest fears and see what nightmares await you from the twisted minds that brought you IT, The Conjuring, Freddy vs. Jason, The Exorcist, and from the DC Universe, Batman: Arkham Asylum.

IT Knows What Scares You

Pennywise returns with a vengeance in this year’s reimagined maze, with even more chills and thrills than ever before. Guests daring enough will have to brave their way through the Neibolt House and remember that “IT Knows What Scares You,” as terror awaits with every twist and turn.

Escape from Arkham Asylum

For the first time ever, the infamous Gotham City institution for the criminally insane is constructed on the Warner Bros. backlot, where fans will come face-to-face with the iconic and unhinged characters from WB Games’ Batman: Arkham Asylum. Visitors will be driven to the brink of insanity as they navigate through the gruesome asylum, and those unlucky enough will be sentenced by The Joker™ to be a prisoner for life.

The Conjuring Universe

In this year's reinvented maze, guests will experience the world of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren as they confront a host of satanic spirits from The Conjuring Universe. Fans will fall victim to Annabelle's devious games, and come face-to-face with the demon lurking in the shadows from the film series' latest installment The Nun, which opened in theatres on Sept. 7, 2018.

Nightmare on Camp Crystal Lake

Deep, dark woods conceal the ghastly presence of Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees, waiting to give visitors the worst nightmare of their lives. Aboard a Warner Bros.' tour cart, guests must survive a cunning game of cat and mouse as they navigate through the infamous Camp Crystal Lake – and all of the horrors unveiled along the way. Brave campers will be left to their own devices to explore the campground, while those unlucky enough to face Freddy and Jason will suffer the gruesome fate they have in store for them.

The Exorcist: Forbidden Screening

In this 4D experience, guests will enter the safe haven of the Warner Bros. backlot church to relive the most terrifying scenes from the 1973 classic The Exorcist, right from the pews.

Fun for Everyone

Horror Made Here will also offer numerous attractions and activities for everyone, including:

  • Stage 48 - Script to Scream: Enter the world of Tim Burton and see authentic props and costumes from his iconic movies Sweeney Todd, The Corpse Bride, Mars Attacks! and for the first time ever on display at Warner Bros., original props from the Halloween classic, Beetlejuice.
  • Devil’s Drop Tower: Adventurous visitors will have the opportunity to take the 90-foot plunge into the air for the scream of their life.
  • Horror Makeup Demonstrations: Learn how makeup artists bring terrifying characters to life with special Horror Made Here SFX makeup demonstrations throughout the night.
  • The Lost Boys Arcade: Play iconic games in the retro Lost Boys-themed arcade. Games include classics like Ms. Pac-Man, Tetris, Mario Bros., Space Invaders and Terminator 2 Pinball.

Additionally, Horror Made Here will feature carnival games, live entertainment, a “Little Shop of Horrors” where guests can purchase Halloween and Horror Made Here merchandise, plus fun food and beverage options, including the goth-punk Fangtasia Bar featured in the HBO series True Blood, serving regular drinks for humans and “Tru-Blood” for vampires.


Horror Made Here will run for 13 nights: Oct. 5-6, 12-14, 18-21 and 25-28. Tickets start at $59 per person and are now on sale at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood website.

For a premium experience, join “The Losers’ Club” for the night to enjoy one-time front-of-line access to each maze with dedicated VIP security and entry lanes, two complimentary beverages, one free IT photo-op, and free priority parking.
