The final week of Pride Month brings some of the most exciting celebrations of the LGBTQ+ community to Los Angeles! Influential multimedia artist Bruce LaBruce stops by 2220 Arts + Archives for two nights dedicated to his landmark Queercore films. The popular party MaDonna Summer hosts its Pride event on Saturday night - DJ ShyBoy will dig into the hits and deep cuts from Madonna and Donna Summer. On Sunday, Pride Month comes to a close with a special performance from the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles.
Dirty Mondays: DJ Kilmore - Whisky a Go Go (June 24)
The weekly Dirty Mondays rock extravaganza at the famed Whisky a Go Go goes down on June 24 with special guest DJ Kilmore of Incubus, who recently released their re-recorded version of the 2001 hit album, Morning View. Space Yacht: Michael Sparks - Sound (June 25)
With the new “Champion’s Tune” single out now, Canadian bass house producer and DJ Michael Sparks stops by Sound on Tuesday night for a special appearance with the Space Yacht crew. Tickets are on sale at Dice, VIP table reservations are available by emailing Sound.
Joe Jackson - The Orpheum (June 25)
Last year, Joe Jackson - the British singer responsible for New Wave hits like “Is She Really Going Out with Him?” and “Steppin’ Out” - released What a Racket!, a collection of songs attributed to a fictional, early 20th century singer named Max Champion. Jackson will perform these songs at The Orpheum on Tuesday night with a nine-piece band in addition to a solo set, with no intermission. Tickets at Ticketmaster.
Reality Gays - Teragram Ballroom (June 26)
The Reality Gays podcast brings its current tour to Los Angeles for a night at Teragram Ballroom. Join hosts Mattie and Poodle as they dish on reality TV series like 90 Day Fiancé. Tickets to the all-ages show at Ticketmaster, with VIP option available.
Bruce LaBruce: Back to Black + White - 2220 (June 27-28)
As Pride Month comes to a close, Dirty Looks, the queer film and performance platform, and 2220 Arts + Archives present a two-night celebration of the works of Bruce LaBruce. The Toronto-based, multi-disciplinary artist will be at the events for the launch of his new book, The Revolution Is My Boyfriend and screenings of his films No Skin Off My Ass (Thursday, June 27) and Super 8 1/2 (Friday, June 28).
Inner Magic - Zebulon (June 27)
Adam Miller, best known for his work as part of Chromatics, and Mikal Oor bring their latest project, Inner Magic, to Zebulon on Thursday night for a free show that includes performances from locals Glass Bow and Minneapolis duo Celica. Dreamist and Shadazz will be your DJs for the night. RSVP at Dice.
I Speak Machine - Gold-Diggers (June 27)
Damaged Disco - usually a free, monthly Tuesday night event - hosts a special ticketed Thursday night show headlined by I Speak Machine. The local multimedia duo, who recently opened for Gary Numan, will be joined by critically acclaimed experimental music producer Cruel Diagonals. Resident DJ Dat68 will be on hand with minimal synth, indie dance and more. TIckets at Dice.
BETExperience: Cardi B - Crypto.com Arena (June 28)
The BET Awards are coming to LA’s Peacock Theater on June 30, but the party is happening all weekend with BETExperience events in the city! On Friday night Cardi B, Gunna, Davido, Sexyy Red and Jordan Ward take to the stage at Crypto.com Arena for the first of two BETExperience music events this weekend. Iron & Wine - The Bellwether (June 28-29)
For his latest album, Light Verse, North Carolina-based singer-songwriter Sam Beam, aka Iron & Wine, headed to Los Angeles to work at Laurel Canyon studio Waystation and Silent Zoo Studios. He returns to the city for two nights at The Bellwether this weekend. For the current tour, Iron & Wine enlisted Emmy Winning group Manual Cinema to create visuals, which will include live shadow puppetry. Amythyst Kiah, who also performs with GRAMMY-nominated group Our Native Daughters, opens.

YG - Hollywood Palladium (June 28)
After dropping a new single, “Shake,” earlier this month, YG launches his “Just Re’d Up” tour with a hometown show at the Hollywood Palladium. VIP packages for the event include the Early Entry package, which includes YG merch; and the YG Meet & Greet package, which also features a photo op with the rapper. Doe Boy opens. The Roots Picnic - Hollywood Bowl (June 29)

MaDonna Summer: Pride Edition - Precinct DTLA (June 29)
MaDonna Summer, the popular party focusing on the music of Madonna and Donna Summer, heads to Precinct DTLA for a special Pride event on Saturday night. With DJ ShyBoy on the decks, you can expect to hear the hits and deep cuts from both superstars. Green Slime - Gold-Diggers (June 29)

Juana Molina - Barnsdall Gallery Theatre (June 29)
Acclaimed experimental pop singer Juana Molina brings her summer tour to the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre on Saturday night. DIIV - The Wiltern (June 29)
It took four years for DIIV to complete Frog in Boiling Water, but now that their latest album is out in the world, the shoegaze band is on the road. Catch them at The Wiltern on Saturday night. Day Trip in the Park: Max Styler - LA State Historic Park (June 30)
Hot off his appearance at the Day Trip Festival in Long Beach, house producer and DJ Max Styler makes his headliner debut in LA at Day Trip in the Park on Sunday. Gay Men’s Chorus: Solid Gold - Pasadena Civic (June 30)
The Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles brings Pride month to a rousing conclusion on Sunday with “Solid Gold.” A tribute to the music of Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick and Whitney Houston, the show will include renditions of 25 hit songs by the 200-member chorus as well as six dance numbers.
