As we continue to monitor the latest developments regarding the Coronavirus situation, the Los Angeles Tourism team has worked swiftly to create a heartfelt response to let our partners, colleagues and friends in China know that we’re thinking about them during this difficult time.
Our team collaborated with a few local musicians to create an original piece of music dedicated to the people of China; this first video was shared across our Chinese-language website and social channels such as Weibo, WeChat and Douyin in addition to our domestic channels such as Instagram and LinkedIn. It has already been viewed more than 4 million times and has been shared by several Chinese media outlets, government officials, travel partners and key opinion leaders with warm sentiments.
I also recorded a second video message to our Chinese travel partners, emphasizing our solidarity and common humanity during this uncertain time; this video was shared across our B2B channels in China and has also received incredibly positive reactions from the travel community. Please feel free to share these videos across your channels in support of the Chinese people in their road to recovery.
