Getting Around

Santa Monica is located within Greater Los Angeles, making access to the city easy by public transportation, air travel or car. With the opening of the Metro Expo Line extension, you can Go Metro and travel from Santa Monica to Downtown L.A. in just 45 minutes. The Expo Line is part of the greater Metro Rail system, connecting Santa Monica with Hollywood, Pasadena, Long Beach and dozens of points in between.
