Los Angeles Tourism Rolls out the Red Carpet for Super Bowl LVI
To capitalize on Super Bowl LVI taking place in Los Angeles this past February, Los Angeles rolled out the red carpet for industry partners, media and VIPs. At the official Media Center, Los Angeles Tourism built out a welcome booth, complete with a custom living plant football field and culinary treats from local businesses. During the activation, Los Angeles Tourism was able to snap photos of football legends in front of our logo to showcase across social media.
The Global Communications team partnered with Blackish actor and native Angeleno Anthony Anderson on a media campaign to share our key messaging and love for Los Angeles with several top outlets including NFL.com, CBS and Variety. Our President and CEO Adam Burke also visited the media center to conduct a number of podcast and radio interviews.
Finally, our Sales team hosted top clients at the Big Game, representing an unprecedented opportunity to showcase the NFL's newest stadium and state-of-the-art SoFi Stadium to meeting planners who will drive future group business to our city.
OBEY Clothing and House Industries Merch Drop
Los Angeles Tourism partnered with OBEY Clothing and House Industries for a limited-edition, L.A.-inspired capsule collection featuring the new logo and three other designs in advance of Super Bowl LVI. The first drop of the collection sold out in a matter of weeks and all proceeds are being donated to The Midnight Mission, a local non-profit that works to combat issues surrounding homelessness in L.A. Brand USA One-On-One Business Meetings Europe
Our team in London recently attended Brand USA's One-to-One Business Meetings, Europe. The virtual event gave Los Angeles Tourism the opportunity to reconnect with buyers from Europe through a series of one-to-one pre-scheduled appointments. Over the two-day event, the buyers were updated on the new developments in the destination and educated on all the great product L.A. has to offer their clients.
