Opened in January 2014, the Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles features 180 rooms, the rooftop Upstairs at Ace, and a stunning 1,600-seat theatre. The hotel was built as the United Artists Building in 1927, designed by architect C. Howard Crane in a Spanish Gothic style and modeled after the Segovia Cathedral in Spain.
