LA Escena Hispanic Classical Theater Festival 2024

LA Escena, Los Angeles’ only festival of Hispanic Classical Theater, returns this year bigger than ever!

This year’s LA Escena Festival will take place from September 12-17th, kicking off National Hispanic Heritage Month, with a weekend of free performances at UCLA’s newly renovated Nimoy Theater, and conclude with a virtual reading by New York’s Red Bull Theater.

LA Escena 2024 will feature exciting productions by internationally renowned performers from Spain and Mexico, operatic adaptations, and much more. Come enjoy performances in Spanish and English, staged readings of brand-new theatrical adaptations, and inventive presentations of Spanish Golden Age works by acclaimed artists from around the world.
