California public health officials have issued a policy restricting non-essential gatherings to protect public health in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. We will do our best to update this page with news on postponed or cancelled concerts and events across Los Angeles County, though we encourage you to double-check with the venue before attending. For additional COVID-19 updates, click here.

Face coverings must be worn when:
•    Visiting any retail business, including those that are open only for curbside or doorside pickup
•    Exercising in neighborhoods or while on a trail, golf course or beach (where face covering must be worn when out of the water and people are nearby)
•    While riding on L.A. Department of Transportation transit buses, Metro buses or trains, or traveling through Los Angeles International Airport

Outdoors:
L.A. County beaches have opened for limited solo activities including running, walking, swimming and surfing. Face coverings are mandatory for anyone on the sand but not for people in the water, and beachgoers are required to practice social distancing by staying at least six feet away from other groups. Piers and boardwalks remain closed. Beach activities like gathering, sitting, sunbathing, picnicking, canopies (umbrellas), coolers and group sports like volleyball are also prohibited.

Trails (with the exception of Runyon and Eaton Canyons), trailhead parks, and golf courses are open as long as activities adhere to distancing and cleaning and infection control protocol, including the wearing of face coverings.

Retail:
All retail, including those located in indoor and outdoor retail shopping centers may now open for business at 50% capacity. Flea markets, swap meets and drive-in movie theaters may resume operations.
