AUTRY AFTER HOURS | SAG-AFTRA Radio Players Performance and Special Finale!

SAG-AFTRA performers will present old-time radio scripts filled with drama, humor, vintage attire, and classic commercials with old-time sound effects. 

Following the radio presentations, please join in the finale as the performers sing "Back in the Saddle Again" followed by "Happy Birthday" in honor of Autry Museum founder Gene Autry, whose birthday is September 29.

The Hitchhiker – This psychological thriller explores themes of isolation, mortality, and the fragility of the human mind. In our current state of fractured communication, political and social tribalism, rapid technological evolution, and human disconnection, this timely piece is as relevant now as when it was first presented in 1941.

Frontier Gentleman - This saga of an Englishman writer for The London Times chronicles life and death in the wide-open American West.  A reporter of colorful and unusual stories, J.B. Kendall is also a man with a gun and part of the violent years of a new territory. This time, he is in Shoshone, Wyoming, on a mission to help a young girl as he copes with a town full of Runyonesque characters and the girl’s bizarre father, who is also the sheriff.
