Join the IAMLA at this interactive play designed for kids ages 3–8 (but fun for all!).
Meet a whimsical inventor who speaks only in rhyme and his hilariously confused assistant as they work to bring an amazing invention to life. With the help of audience members and legendary Italian American inventors from the pages of history, this imaginative journey blends science, creativity, music, and surprises, making for an unforgettable experience!
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. No drop-offs permitted.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITION CREATIVE MINDS: ITALIAN AMERICAN INVENTORS AND INNOVATORS
From the jacuzzi and the telephone to the nuclear reactor and the Big Mac, Italian American inventors and innovators have impacted our lives in ways great and small. Creative Minds examines the achievements and personal stories of Italian American inventors and vanguards, both immigrant and native born, demonstrating that United States innovation has long reflected the diversity of its people. Featuring a range of objects, rare documents, and images, and spanning technology, science, cuisine, education, and medicine, Creative Minds emphasizes the stories of the people who dared to think differently and took risks, all in the pursuit of something new.
