Sparkles

"Sparkles" offers a hilarious glimpse into the experiences of a truly weird millennial as she reflects on every shitty job she has held, from being an elf at Macy's to a dancing hostess to a telemarketer. The great resignation of 2021 has nothing on how many jobs Mel Stephens has quit. Mel uses her self-deprecating and observational humor to reflect on the absurd and mundane situations life presents to you when you're broke, which can drive a person mad.
Melissa Stephens is a comedian, writer, and director. Her acting credits include "The New Girl," "Californication," "Key and Peele," "House of Lies," and "Black Monday."
