Love is Opera is Love

Join us for a special opera concert in honor of Italian Heritage Month.
Opera is Love is Opera! this semi-staged, 50-minute performance traces the journey of romantic opera from its early classical roots to the passionate and modern works of the 20th century.
The program features beloved arias and ensembles by Mozart, Bellini, Verdi, Bizet, Puccini, and Menotti, woven together with short musical interludes and brief narration that guide the audience through opera’s evolution.
Duets from Mozart's Don Giovanni and The Magic Flute, Verdi’s La Traviata, Bizet’s Carmen, Puccini's La Bohème and Turandot, and Menotti’s The Telephone.
This musical journey will be performed by four young Los Angeles-based singers: soprano Andrea Church, baritone Joshua Valdes, mezzo-soprano Erin Alford, and tenor Abraham Cervantes.
