The musical "1776" is about the events leading up to the signing of the Declaration of Independence. It tells the story of the efforts of John Adams to persuade his colleagues to vote for American Independence.

Highlighted leads:
Evan Cooper as the fiery, obnoxious and disliked, John Adams. Evan was in TAP’s Summer 2019 "Joseph" playing Reuben (Brother).

Bob Minnichelli (Benjamin Franklin) has been in several TAP performances. He received the Torrance Performing Arts Consortium (TPAC) Mercury Stage & Theater award in Nov 2016 for his portrayal of Tevye in "Fiddler."

Charles Keppler (Thomas Jefferson) was Rolf Gruber in TAP's Summer 2022 "Sound of Music."

Erin Callaway (Abigail Adams) is an accomplished actress and was Sister Margaretta in TAP's Summer 2022 "Sound of Music."
