On August 25, 2019, hundreds will gather at Fort Monroe in Hampton, Virginia for the 400th Anniversary Commemoration event. An event honoring the first enslaved African ancestors to come here and sharing the story of how their journey in what we now call the United States began. But on September 7th, history will be changed, and it is starting in LA!

The Center for Truth and Healing and Building Bridges Global Group invite you and your family to join Rizza Islam, Phil Scott, Brother Ben X, Ms. Shirley Husar, Dynast Amir, Brenda Smith-Lezama and more on Saturday, September 7th and Sunday, September 8th , 2019, as they kick off The Building Bridges Black Unity Tour at City Banquet Hall in Compton, California.

This tour is aimed at celebrating and honoring our ancestors, repairing the Black family, bringing together like-minded groups and organizations to develop plans for social and economic growth in our communities, empowering Black entrepreneurs, and mobilizing and organizing our people for the shift taking place.

It all begins with The Black Business Expo on Saturday featuring Black business owners and vendors with products and services for everyone. There will also be networking for B2B opportunities, discussion panels, informational workshops, resources, and family entertainment.

On Sunday, we sit down for a serious heart to heart to begin the healing process and explore solutions to the problems that plague our communities at The Building Bridges Forum.  Lastly, we break bread at The Taste of the Diaspora, a VIP reception with a festive family feast that represents forgiveness, peace, and unity. Guests will also enjoy live entertainment, a meet and greet with guest speakers and more.

This is a must-attend event for anyone concerned about the wellness and welfare of all Black people. Space is limited. Get your early bird tickets now at Sponsorship, vendor, workshop presenters, and entertainment opportunities are available.
