LA PHIL BRASS STARS TO HEADLINE APRIL 16 PALISADES CHAMBER CONCERT
An adventurous program of works for brass instruments, flute and piano will fill the esteemed sanctuary of St. Matthew’s Parish when Chamber Music Palisades presents the final concert of its 2018-19 season on Tuesday, April 16 at 8 PM. A strong representation of the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s brass section will be performing including Principal Trumpet Tom Hooten, Principal Trombone David Rejano, and outstanding hornist Amy Jo Rhine.
A special addition to the program will be World Premiere of the Sonata for flute and piano by award-winning Indian-American composer Reena Esmail, a work that was commissioned by Chamber Music Palisades.
