Featuring elevated modern American cuisine by Executive Chef Javier Lopez, 71Above is the highest restaurant west of the Mississippi and boasts spectacular ocean views from Malibu to Laguna Hills, along with the Los Angeles basin and the surrounding mountain ranges.

Lopez is serving a three-course Thanksgiving Dinner that starts with Farm Salad, Japanese Sea Bream Crudo, Chilled Asparagus, Grilled Octopus or Spinach Bigoli Pasta. The entree is Mary's Turkey Breast with Mushroom Stuffing - sides for the table include Black Truffle Mac 'n Cheese, Grilled Broccolini and Pomme Purée. For dessert, choose from Milk Tea Granita, Kabocha Squash Pie, Gianduja Fig Mousse or Cheese Plate (add $8).

Pricing is $105 with an optional $59 wine pairing. The Children's Dinner is $50.

Now in its third generation, the family-owned South LA bakery has been serving its famous Sweet Potato Pie since 1956. Besides the signature pie, the In-Store Pie Menu also includes Alberta's Old Fashioned Pecan, and Daddy's Sweet Pumpkin. The Small Sweet Potato and Small Pecan Pies are available by the dozen. 

If you can't stop by in person, the bakery can ship your pie! For pick-up and shipping orders, the cut-off date is 1pm PST on Monday, November 25. Any orders placed after the cut-off will not be shipped/ready for pick-up until the following Tuesday, December 3.

At Akasha in Culver City, chef-owner Akasha Richmond and partner Alan Schulman present a Thanksgiving To-Go Menu featuring a la carte dishes sourced from the local farmers market and the restaurant's best purveyors. The Oven-Ready Mary's Turkey serves six - three-day brined turkey with herb butter and turkey stock for roasting at home.

The extensive menu includes numerous vegan and gluten-free options, such as Vegan Roasted Chestnut & Herb Stuffing, Porcini & Wild Mushroom Gravy (V & GF), Winter Squash & Fennel Soup (V & GF), Vegan Organic Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes (GF), Candied Local Sweet Potatoes (GF), Milliken Farms Roasted Brussels Sprouts (V & GF), Vegan Green Bean Casserole (GF) and Akasha's Cranberry Chutney (V & GF). Pies include the ever-popular Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie and Classic Pumpkin Pie.

Lien Ta and the late Jonathan Whitener opened All Day Baby on Thanksgiving Weekend in 2019. Pastry Chef Sam Robinson is offering six Whole Thanksgiving Pies: Sweet Corn & Blueberry, French Silk, Classic Pecan, Apple Crumble, Pumpkin Cheesecake and Banana Cream.

James Beard Award-winning chef Kevin Bludso is offering a Thanksgiving Menu of combos, a la carte dishes and whole pies to-go at his eponymous restaurants on La Brea and in Santa Monica; and takeout/delivery in Van Nuys. "Our recipes have been passed down from generation to generation and there ain't no better feeling than sharing them with y'all."

The Smoked Turkey and Fried Turkey Combos feed 10-12 people and are priced at $255 each. The Smoked Ham Combo is $225 and feeds 8-10. Combos come with Collard Greens, Sweet Potato Mash, Cornbread Stuffing and Side of Gravy.

Pick-ups are available on Wednesday, November 27 from 11am to 4pm; and Thursday, November 28 from 9am to 1pm. NOTE: The Fried Turkey will only be available for pick-up on Thanksgiving Day. Don't wait to place your order by November 22, Bludso's sells out every year!

Located at the Americana at Brand, Michael Mina's modern steakhouse is offering a three-course Thanksgiving Menu of seasonal and inspired takes on holiday classics.

Start with Pumpkin Velouté, Heirloom Beet & Citrus, Warm Truffle Caesar Salad, or Apricot Glazed Pork Belly. Main courses include Roasted Heritage Turkey, 8 oz Filet Mignon, Butternut Squash Tournedo Steak, Pan Seared Rainbow Trout, Truffle Prime Rib Roast, and Mina's signature Maine Lobster Pot Pie ($39 supplement). A la carte sides include Classic Potato Puree, Mac & Cheese Gratin (Classic or Black Truffle), Cornbread Stuffing and the veg-friendly, gluten-free Roasted Honeynut Squash. For dessert, choose from Crème Brûlée Cheesecake, Pumpkin Spice Candy Bar or Beignets.

Located on the bustling corner of Melrose and Robertson in WeHo, Cecconi's is offering a Thanksgiving Special for $65 that includes turkey, truffle mashed potatoes, stuffing, seasonal vegetables, gravy and cranberry sauce. A la carte mains include Chicken Paillard, Dover Sole, Petit Filet, and Porterhouse with spinach, roasted potatoes and porcini sauce.

Vegetarian, plant-based and gluten-free options include Butternut Squash Soup (PB & GF), Zucchini Fritti (PB), Vegan Sausage (PB) and Black Truffle (V) wood oven pizzas; Butternut Squash Tortelli (V), Eggplant Parmigiana (V) and Whole Cauliflower with salmoriglio and lemon aioli (PB & GF).

Chef David LeFevre is featuring two Thanksgiving Packages to-go at his Manhattan Beach favorite, M.B. Post.

Priced at $165, the Thanksgiving Turkey Package features a Diestel Organic Whole Uncooked & Brined Free Range Turkey with roasting vegetables, herbed butter, creamy sage turkey gravy thermometer, and reheating/cooking instructions.

The classic Thanksgiving Fixings Package ($180) includes Turkey Gravy, Cranberry Sauce, Butter-Laden Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Wild Rice & Sage Stuffing and Green Bean Amandine.

Maple Block Meat Co. is offering their 100% peach wood-smoked Thanksgiving turkeys to-go for your holiday gathering. Raised locally in California, these all-natural, free-range, antibiotic-free (ABF) turkeys are shipped fresh to Maple Block and they take care of the rest. Whole turkey options include 12-14 lbs ($235), 15-17 lbs ($285) and 18-20 lbs ($335). Unsliced boneless turkey breast (about 7 lbs) is priced at $198 and serves 10-12 people. All turkey orders include gravy.

Josiah Citrin's two Michelin-starred Mélisse is offering a special Thanksgiving To-Go Package that serves two people. Top Chef Season 14 champ Brooke Williamson is serving a three-course Thanksgiving Dinner at Dockside, the coastal dining concept at her multi-space Playa Provisions in Playa del Rey.

Shared appetizers include Endive Salad, Parker House Rolls, Cornbread and Maple Butter. The entree plate features Beer-Brined Roasted Turkey, Maple Roasted Yams, Turkey Sausage & Butternut Squash Stuffing, Roasted Garlic Smashed Red Bliss Potatoes, Blanched Green Beans, Turkey Gravy and Cranberry Sauce. Finish with Pumpkin Pie.

Reservations for the Thanksgiving Dinner are available from 1pm to 6pm. Pricing is $85 for adults and $45 per child. Dockside Classics will also be available, including the Lobster Roll, Grilled Salmon Salad and Sesame Crusted Halibut.

Named a Michelin Bib Gourmand, Chef Steve Samson's Rossoblu is offering a Thanksgiving at Home package: whole Mary's organic turkey (12-14 lb); chestnut, porcini & sage stuffing; cranberry & blood orange sauce, candied yams, parmesan mashed potatoes, marsala gravy, roasted Brussels sprouts, and pumpkin bread pudding with dulce de leche.

Pricing is $300 per package (serves 6). A la carte add-ons include additional sides, Negroni cocktails and selected wines. The package is presented refrigerated - the turkey is uncooked with roasting instructions; and reheating instructions are included for the sides. Nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains above Malibu, Saddle Peak Lodge is a warm, rustic retreat located along a creek that runs from Las Virgenes Canyon to the Pacific Ocean.

For its annual Thanksgiving Feast, Saddle Peak Lodge is serving a four-course menu that features traditional dishes and more exotic fare like Grilled Pheasant Caesar Salad and Tartare of Elk. Entree options include Roasted Mary's Free Range Turkey Plate, Seared New Zealand Elk Tenderloin, Roasted Salmon and Vegan Quinoa Apple Stuffing. For dessert, choose from Pumpkin Pie, Mini Chocolate "Fudge" Brownies and Bread Pudding.

Pricing is $115 for adults and $55 for the Children's Meal (ages 12 and under, includes choice of main course and dessert).

Tam O'Shanter



One of LA's most iconic restaurants, The Tam O'Shanter was opened in 1922 by Lawrence Frank and Walter Van de Kamp (they later founded Lawry's the Prime Rib) and there's a lot of history inside its dark wood walls. Walt Disney and his animators were regulars - his favorite table was #31, right by the fireplace and commemorated by a plaque.

The Tam is serving an a la carte Thanksgiving Menu with starters like Scotch Rarebit, Brisket Burnt Ends, Shrimp Cocktail, Candied Yams, and the Holiday Salad - a Tam classic. Entrees include a Holiday Roast Turkey Dinner with all the fixings for $36 (add thinly sliced prime rib for $16), Toad in the Hole, Pan-Seared Scottish Salmon, Filet Mignon, Cauliflower Tikka Masala, and a selection of Lawry's World-Famous Prime Rib, including the exclusive Tam O'Shanter Cut and the bone-in, extra thick Prince Charlie Cut.
