Located atop the U.S. Bank Tower in Downtown L.A., 71Above is the highest restaurant west of the Mississippi and boasts spectacular city views throughout the space. The two-course Mother's Day Brunch starts with fresh biscuits for the table, then first course options like avocado toast, smoked salmon tartine and sugar snap peas. Entrees include Eggs Benedict, shakshuka, cacio e pepe, and flatiron steak & eggs. Pricing is $55 for brunch, with options to add first and second courses.

AKASHA



Opened in 2008 by Akasha Richmond and Alan Schulman, AKASHA features California and New American cuisine created with cultural influences taken from Chef Akasha’s travels around the world. Along with the regular brunch menu, a la carte Mother's Day specials (9am - 2:30pm) include Schaner Farm egg sardou, brisket hash & sunny side up eggs, and jumbo lump crab salad. Dinner specials will be served from 5pm to 9pm and include spring pea soup to start, lamb tagine, seared diver scallops, and Pavlova - lemon curd, Tamai Farms berries, strawberry sorbet, and whipped cream.

Alimento



Just in time for Mother's Day, Chef Zach Pollack is launching a long-awaited weekend brunch at Alimento, his Italian hotspot in Silver Lake. Debuting on Saturday, May 11, the inaugural brunch menu will feature a mix of “Breakfast-y” and “Lunch-y” items, including new dishes like Ricotta Doughnut Holes with blueberries and mascarpone, a Potato Frico Waffle with pulled brisket, Crispy Polenta Tartines with whipped baccalá, and a Gritti Palace Club sandwich. Alimento regulars can enjoy signatures like the Braised Lettuce Bruschetta and the Chicken Milanese Sandwich, alongside classic brunch sides like house-made English muffins, bacon and sausages, and crispy potatoes that are a play on Frico Friulano.

Brunch dishes will be complemented by pressed juices, eclectic beers, select small-production wines from the restaurant’s predominantly organic and biodynamic list, and cocktails like the Mercato Mimosa and “Rosé & Shine” Spritz. Following its debut, regular brunch hours will be 10:30am – 2:30pm every Saturday and Sunday.

AR Cucina



AR Cucina offers authentic and rustic dishes drawn from Akasha Richmond's love of Italian cuisine and her travels through Italy’s many regions. Along with their regular menu, AR Cucina is serving Mother’s Day brunch specials from 10:30am - 2:30pm. Highlights include artichoke & pecorino frittata, polenta cake Benedict, and cacio e pepe scrambled eggs. Available 5-9pm, dinner specials include beef & pork meatballs, Akasha's mushroom lasagna, pecorino romano shrimp risotto, and chocolate & pistachio semifreddo.

While brunch at Brentwood favorite Baltaire is always a treat, Chef Travis Strickland is serving a special Mother's Day buffet from 10am-4pm featuring carving stations, a raw bar, brunch favorites, salads, desserts and more. Treat mom to something extra special with the new “Sparkling Mimosa” bar, complete with fresh juices, a bottle of sparkling wine, and of course, a sparkler.

The brunch buffet is priced at $85 per adult and $45 per child. Reservations are recommended.

Tucked inside the Beverly Glen Center in Bel-Air, Bisto Jolie serves southern French-style cuisine accented with California flair in a Riviera-inspired dining room. Bistro Jolie is serving a prix fixe Mother's Day Brunch that starts with assorted pastry & bread board with fresh pressed juice or glass of sparkling wine. First course options include arugula salad, spring vegetable tart, buckwheat crepe and smoked salmon tartine. For entree, choose from The Jolie Burger, nicoise salad, pain perdu, Crab Benedict or Mediterranean five-egg omelette. Finish with lemon olive oil cake, frozen strawberries & cream, or Valrhona chocolate pot de creme.

Brunch is served from 10:00am - 4:00pm for $55 per person. A menu for kids under 12 is also available for $20 and includes a kids entrée, drink and scoop of ice cream.

BOA Steakhouse - WeHo & Santa Monica



Part of the Innovative Dining Group collection of restaurants, BOA Steakhouse features a wide selection of prime steaks, including the signature 40-day dry-aged New York strip and A5 Japanese Wagyu; and seafood entrees like live Maine lobster and Cedar Plank Salmon.

Located on Sunset Boulevard, BOA West Hollywood is serving a brunch buffet from 11am to 4pm, featuring a seafood bar, prime steak carving station, custom egg bar and more. Pricing is $75 per adult and $25 per child. BOA Santa Monica is offering a special brunch menu from 11am to 3pm, along with their a la carte lunch menu.

Border Grill, the modern Mexican cantina from Chefs Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger, is offering Mother's Day Brunch and Lunch menus. Priced at $30 per person, brunch features unlimited small plates like plantain empanada, chicken tinga tamale, ceviche del dia, fried chicken & churro waffles, Yucatan pork benedict, steak & eggs, chilaquiles and churro tots. Vegan options include farmer's market tostada, corn esquite, breakfast quesadilla with tofu & soyrizo; "Impossible" chorizo tacos and Aztec parfait. Add bottomless mimosas for $15, or upgrade to bottomless Mimosas, Micheladas and Bloody Marys for $20 per person.

A la carte lunch specials include tortilla soup, Mexican chopped salad, citrus chicken quesadilla, pescado Ensenada tacos, chile relleno burger, and "Impossible" Breakfast Bowl.

Located in the Americana at Brand, Michael Mina's Bourbon Steak is serving a lavish Mother's Day Brunch Buffet. Priced at $85 per person, the buffet includes a Bread, Bagel, Fish & Charcuterie Station; Raw Bar, Chef's Garden Salad Station, Breakfast Buffet, Omelette Station, and Savory Buffet with country fried chicken, bucksnort trout, loaded potato two ways, smoked prime rib and wood-grilled asparagus.

Located on the grounds of the famed Chateau Marmont off the Sunset Strip, Chateau Hanare will be offering a special Mother's Day Kaiseki for $80 with optional $48 sake pairing upon request. Start with fresh, housemade tofu then choose from tomato & truffled burrata, sashimi, or obanzai set. The third course is a shabu shabu hot pot with rice and choice of meat (washugyu), fish (sushi grade kanpachi), lobster, or miso oden (vegan). Finish with seasonal ice cream and sorbet duo.

Craft Los Angeles



Located in Century City, Craft is open for a rare Sunday brunch just for mom. The prix fixe three-course brunch starts with first and second courses for the table, including assorted pastries, coconut chia pudding, fuerte avocado, and red Russian kale. Main course selections include fried egg BLT sandwich, smoked salmon crepe, chicken sausage hash, diver scallops, loup de mer, flatiron steak, Berkshire pork loin, and ricotta cavatelli. Seatings are available 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. and pricing is $65 per person.

The flagship restaurant opened in 1998 by James Beard Award winners Suzanne Goin and nominee Caroline Styne offers a warm and inviting setting for a special Mother's Day Sunday Supper. The four-course menu highlights the best of the season from the weekly Spring Farmers' Market. Dinner starts with Cornmeal Pancake with Smoked Black Cod followed by a Spring Salad of fava beans, sugar snaps and avocado with burrata, duck prosciutto and stewed green garlic. The main course is a choice of Pan-Roasted Halibut or Grilled Filet Steak. Maple is a family-friendly brunch restaurant located at the beautiful Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge. The Mother’s Day edition of the weekly Sunday Roast Dinner will feature Slow-Roasted Pork Belly and Roast Short Ribs. Both dishes are served with roasted vegetables, crispy potatoes, gravy and Yorkshire pudding. The roast dinner is available from 3:30 p.m. and is priced at $26 per guest.

Opened in February 2019, Chef Ricardo Zarate's all-day eatery, Pikoh serves an eclectic menu inspired by L.A.'s cultural melting pot. The Raymond 1886



Housed in a historic Craftsman Cottage with an expansive patio, The Raymond 1886 is featuring Executive Chef Jon Hung's Mother's Day brunch specials from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. Start with a Grapefruit Brûlée with fresh berries or sample the Family Breakfast Platter filled with fresh fruit, muffins, and a homemade cinnamon roll for the whole table to enjoy. Brunch highlights include Chef Inspired Omelettes; Egg, Biscuits & Gravy; Chilaquiles, Horchata Griddle Cakes, or a decadent twist on a classic, the Lobster Benedict. Nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains above Malibu, Saddle Peak Lodge is a warm, rustic retreat located in a romantic setting along a creek. Celebrate Mother's Day at Saddle Peak Lodge with a special three-course Mother's Day Brunch. Start with roasted apple salad, albacore tartare or warm tomato soup. Wolfgang Puck's flagship Spago Beverly Hills will host a Mother’s Day Jazz Brunch featuring featuring the retro sounds of the Jennifer Keith Quintet. Priced at $155 per person, the brunch experience includes the decadent Gelato & Bake Shop pop-up. Supplement your celebration with a visit to the Champagne Cocktail Bar ($20). Opened since 1989, Tosca is a warm and inviting trattoria in the heart of Brentwood. In addition to their traditional Tuscan à la carte menu, Toscana is offering Mother's Day specials like roasted scallops, Insalata Estiva, pizza bianca, squid ink spaghetti with crab, Alaskan halibut, and Cantucci e Vin Santo. The price range for the à la carte specials is $15 - $50. Toscana will be serving lunch and dinner continuously on Mother’s Day from 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Next door, Bar Toscana will be serving cocktails, specials and stuzzichini (bar bites) from 5:30 p.m. Reservations are highly recommended.
