• Los Angeles ranked 7th among the Top 25 Markets with an Occupancy rate of 69.7%, up +2.3% compared to December 2016 (68.2%).
• Los Angeles ADR was $163.03 and ranked 5th among the Top 25 Markets, up +6.6% compared to December 2016 ($152.96).
• Los Angeles RevPAR was $113.64 and ranked 5th among the Top 25 Markets, up +9.0% compared to December 2016 ($104.26).
• Rooms nights sold were 2.21 million countywide, up +5.6% over December 2016 (2.09 million room nights).
• The LAX Area (75.8%) reported the highest occupancy rate for December 2017.

 

2017 Jan-Dec Year End
• Los Angeles ranked 4th  among the Top 25 Markets with a YE Occupancy rate of 80.0%, down -1.6% compared to 2016 (81.3%).
o Markets ranking higher than Los Angeles in YE occupancy are New York (86.7%), Oahu Island (83.3%), and San Francisco (82.8%).
• Los Angeles YE ADR is $175.98 and ranks 6th out of the Top 25 Markets, up +2.4% compared to 2016 ($171.90).
• Los Angeles YE RevPAR is $140.85 and ranks 6th out of the Top 25 Markets, up +0.8% compared to the 2016 ($139.70).
• YE rooms nights sold are 29.37 million countywide, reflecting a +0.5% increase over 2016 (29.22 million room nights).
• The LAX Area (84.7%) and Santa Monica/Marina Del Rey (84.0%) reported the highest occupancy rate for 2017.
