Travel around the world this summer with Grand Cafe's Art of BBQ series, which will showcase unique international barbecue and grilling traditions. Father's Day Catch on the Field at Dodger Stadium



After the LA Dodgers play the Chicago Cubs, the whole family is invited to participate in the annual Father's Day Catch on the Field, a free event available to all ticketed fans. Game starts at 4:05pm, tickets on sale at the Dodgers website.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar (June 14-16, 2019)



On Father’s Day weekend, June 14-16, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar locations - including L.A. LIVE - will be serving a prix fixe menu and bourbon tasting for dads that enjoy the finer things in life. Treat dad to a premium bourbon tasting experience featuring Maker’s Mark, Basil Hayden's and Knob Creek ($20). Then it's time to Go Big with a three-course menu that starts with Caesar salad or lobster bisque. Entree is the 35oz Prime Tomahawk with choice of signature butter ($99). Add a colossal North Atlantic lobster tail for $39. Finish with key lime pie or carrot cake. Located at historic Union Station in Downtown LA, Imperial Western Beer Company is hosting Father's Day BBQ & Brews from noon to 6pm. Located at Banc of California Stadium in Exposition Park, The Fields is featuring Father's Day specialty items from nine chef kitchens. There's special LA Beer Week tappings, free arcade games from 3pm - 10pm, and yard games and music at the Beer Garden Patio. Complimentary first beer for dad with any food purchase! For early birds, The Fields will be showing the U.S. Women's World Cup match starting at 8am.

Hoods Up - Petersen Automotive Museum (June 15-16, 2019)



If dad is a car aficionado, there's no better place to be on Father's Day Weekend than Hoods Up at the Petersen Automotive Museum. From the 1989 Batmobile to the 1967 Ford GT40 Mk III, the Petersen will be popping the hoods on a selection of their favorite vehicles. Hoods Up is included with purchase of General Admission.

Father’s Day and National Bourbon Day land on the same weekend this year, and Yardbird Southern Table & Bar, located inside the Beverly Center, will be celebrating both holidays in a big way. Yardbird's southern-style a la carte menu includes a specialty bourbon flight ($49), St. Louis Style Pork Ribs, hickory smoked and topped with house-made BBQ sauce ($32); Bourbon Glazed Pork Shank with jalapeño cheddar grits, fried green tomatoes, and country ham jus ($38); and everyone’s favorite, Lobster Mac & Cheese with whole lobster and five artisanal cheeses.

Suzanne Tracht's modern chophouse, Jar is serving a menu of Father's Day specials on Friday - Sunday starting at 5:30 p.m. Highlights from the a la carte menu include softshell crab with black garlic butter; braised oxtail, Jar's Signature Pot Roast, Prime Porterhouse for Two, a holiday clafloutis and more. Specialty cocktails include Dad’s Manhattan with Blanton's Bourbon, Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth, Dash of Bitters & Luxardo Cherry; and the classic Mint Julep with Blanton's Bourbon, muddled mint, simple syrup over crushed ice.

Jar’s famous Fried Chicken Sunday menu will only be available through pre-order. Reservations are recommended and walk-ins are welcome.

Culina Ristorante + Caffe

Located in the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, Culina is serving a lavish Father's Day Brunch from 10am - 3pm. Highlights include Breakfast & Eggs, Breakfast Sweets, Morning Pastries, Fresh Fruits, Farmers Market Salads, Cheese & Appetizers, Sushi & Seafood Station, Dim Sum Station, Carving Station (whole spit roasted suckling pig, slow-roasted leg & shoulder of lamb), Outdoor Grill Station (marinated & grilled bone-in cowboy steak, "beer can" whole jidori chicken), Mexican Station, Entrees (braised short ribs, New Zealand red snapper, smoked lamb ribs, mushroom ravioli, summer baby veggies), Children's Buffet, and Dessert Station.

The annual game experience will be set up in the hotel's Wetherly Garden, including a 9-hole putt putt course and additional lawn games such as bocce ball and corn hole. There will be drawings for prizes like complimentary meals at Culina.

Viceroy L'Ermitage Beverly Hills has dads covered with two of their favorite things on Father's Day weekend. Golf-meets-culture brand Malbon will be showcasing their urban-focused apparel and accessories at a special pop-up from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, June 15-16. Guests will be able to explore the brand's latest collection, focused on the love that fathers and their children share for the game of golf. Expect anything from hats, tops and outerwear to such unique accessories as silk scarves, ball markers, scotch glasses and cigar cases for dads seeking the finer things in life.

At the hotel's restaurant Avec Nous, Chef Nicholas Loncar has created a special take on "steak frites" which he'll be serving on Father's Day from 11:00 a.m. till 11:00 p.m. His version involves Pecanwood Smoked Bacon Wrapped South Texas Antelope Chop with Woodinville Barrel Aged Maple Syrup and accompanied by Chipotle Sweet Potato Tots ($25). Avec Nous will also be offering a specialty Woodinville Apricot Sour for the day. Both the steak frites and apricot sour will be served in addition to the restaurant's regular offerings.

Brentwood favorite, Baltaire is serving a special Father’s Day brunch buffet from 10am to 4pm. The spread features a full raw bar, carving board (prime rib, fried chicken), classic brunch items (omelette bar, shakshuka, crispy potatoes), salads, and pastries & desserts (chocolate and almond croissants, lemon meringue tart, carrot cake). Pricing is $85 per adult and $45 per child. Reservations are recommended.

Nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains above Malibu, Saddle Peak Lodge is a warm, rustic retreat located in a romantic setting along a creek. Chef Adam Horton is serving a three-course Father's Day Brunch from 10am to 2:30pm that starts with a choice of Caesar Salad, house smoked salmon toast, or Saddle Peak Lodge "Kick A$$" Game Chili with all the fixin's and cornbread. Entree selections include roasted Faroe Island salmon, eggs Benedict, roast bison sandwich, brioche French toast "peaches & cream," and steak & eggs with Peruvian flavors. Finish with apple cinnamon & huckleberry bread pudding, cappuccino pots de creme, or mini chocolate brownies. Pricing for Father's Day Brunch is $68 per person, and $45 for the Children's Menu (two courses, ages 12 and under).

Whether you're in the dining room or on the patio, every table at Geoffrey's has a panoramic view of the ocean. Along with the spectacular coastal scenery, dad is sure to enjoy the three-course, prix fixe Father's Day menus for brunch and dinner. First courses include chilled honeydew melon soup, carrot ginger soup, summer watermelon salad, braised bacon herbed goat cheese risotto, braised pork belly, and sauteed crab cake. Mains include Geoffrey's crab cake Benedict (brunch only), pan seared day boat scallops, herb crusted salmon, grilled filet mignon, stuffed chicken breast (dinner only), seared ahi tuna (dinner only), and miso-braised tofu. Finish with pomegranate mousse, Geoffrey’s Blueberry Maple Cheesecake, or chocolate hazelnut crunch bars. Pricing for brunch or dinner is $80 per person and $48 for children 12 and younger.

Lunetta (June 15-16, 2019)



Lunetta is celebrating Father's Day all weekend with brunch specials like baby back ribs and prime rib hash along with favorites like Crispy Chicken & Pancakes, Wood Fired Eggs, Pastry Board, and Creekstone Filet & Eggs. And just for being awesome, dad gets a complimentary beer! Thirsty dads can also enjoy Lunetta's House-Charred Bloody Mary, Paloma Spritz and Fresh Watermelon Mimosa. If dad is a golfer, the US Open will be on two screens. Reservations are recommended.

Bourbon Steak Los Angeles



Located in the Americana at Brand, Michael Mina's Bourbon Steak is serving a three-course Father's Day Feast for $75 per person. Start with baby iceberg salad, little gem lettuce, butter bibb, shrimp a la plancha, or bay scallop & chorizo risotto. Main courses in clude salt crusted prime rib, 8oz filet mignon, 14oz "currasco" New York strip, double bacon wagyu beef burger, braised Colorado lamb shank, and Mediterranean branzino. Sides for the table include classic potato puree, shells & cheese, guanciale Brussels sprouts, and creamed spinach. For dessert, choose from lemon olive oil cake or chocolate mousse.

Housed in a historic Craftsman Cottage with an expansive patio, The Raymond 1886 is featuring Executive Chef Jon Hung's Father's Day Brunch from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. Start with a Grapefruit Brûlée with fresh berries or sample the Family Breakfast Platter filled with fresh fruit, muffin, and a homemade cinnamon roll for the whole table to enjoy. Brunch highlights include Chef Inspired Omelettes; Egg, Biscuits & Gravy; Porchetta and Hash, and the massive Breakfast Burrito that's packed with chorizo, black bean corn salsa, scrambled eggs, hash, salsa verde, topped with enchilada sauce and sour cream. If Dad is in more of a lunch mood, there's the Classic Cheeseburger with ground Kobe beef, or The Raymond Curry - diced chicken breast diced cooked in a curried cream sauce with peanuts, raisins, coconut and mango chutney. It's dad's special day, so he can indulge in day drinking favorites like the 1886 Bloody Mary with Dirty Sue olive juice and an array of salts and spices, or the classic Ramos Gin Fizz made with fresh citrus, cream, egg white, and orange-flower water, topped with soda.

If the family has all-day plans with dad, The Raymond is serving Father's Day Dinner starting at 5:30pm. Highlights include Oysters on the Half Shell, Weekly Tartare, Roasted Cauliflower, Seared Sea Trout, Lamb Chops, Porchetta, and the Dry-Aged Ribeye for Two with elephant garlic and family-style vegetables.

Mar’sel, the flagship oceanfront restaurant located at Terranea Resort, will be serving the ultimate Flannery Beef-focused menu for Father’s Day, starting on Friday, June 14 through Sunday, June 16. Chef Andrew Vaughan's three-course menu features Glazed Beef Rib with roasted jalapeno chimichurri, crispy onions and aioli, a Petite Filet & 28 Day Aged Ribeye served with bone marrow mac & cheese with a sweet onion brulee, finished with a Chocolate Mousse, topped with bacon praline and sea salt peanuts.

Families can also celebrate at catalina kitchen with a buffet brunch that includes bottomless mimosas and a Bloody Mary bar, or a steakhouse-inspired dinner buffet. The carving station will be serving eight varieties of meat ranging from slow roasted prime rib to char siu pork belly to lamb chops, complimented by a flatbread and entrée station with choice of jambalaya pasta, BBQ pork ribs, vegetarian chili and more.

Father's Day BBQ - Aquarium of the Pacific
