ESPN celebrates 11 years of X Games in Los Angeles with the X Games LA 2013.

Events take place in Downtown Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE venues and event spaces, including STAPLES CenterMicrosoft Theater L.A. LIVE, Event Deck at L.A. LIVE, the new Downtown rally car street circuit and the debut of the Big Air ramp on Chick Hearn Court. More than 200 athletes competed for medals and prize money in skateboarding, BMX, freestyle motocross and Rally.

2007: Marisa Dal Santo wins her first X Games gold medal, unseating three-time gold medalist Elissa Steamer for the Women's Skateboard Street gold on her 20th birthday

2009: Blake “Bilko” Williams (pictured) becomes the first international and Australian Moto X Freestyle gold medalist, the same year that Ashley Fiolek becomes the first profoundly deaf athlete to win gold at the X Games

2011: Matt Buyten sets a World Record, winning Moto X Step Up by clearing a height of 37 feet

2012: Garrett Reynolds earned the fourth five-peat in X Games history in BMX Freestyle Street, remaining the only athlete to win this competition at X Games.
