On Fourth of July weekend, Anime Expo takes over the Los Angeles Convention Center in Downtown L.A. The annual celebration of Japanese entertainment and pop culture has exploded in popularity in recent years, drawing tens of thousands of guests to check out watch the latest anime, shop for merchandise and dress up as their favorite characters.

This year, Anime Expo will feature a host of special guests, including Final Fantasy creator Sakaguchi, popular cosplayer Stella Chuu and musical duo Angela, who has provided the theme songs for multiple anime series.
