Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA, an ambitious exploration of Latin American and Latino art in dialogue with Los Angeles. Led by the Getty, Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA launched last month across more than 70 arts institutions in Southern California – 50 of which are in L.A. As a lead sponsor of the event, L.A. Tourism has been working closely with PST: LA/LA to identify and execute against a variety of promotional initiatives, with the intent of driving visitation and overnight stays throughout the five-month series.

L.A. Tourism’s Communications team provided international media relations support for launch events in London, Mexico City, Berlin and Paris, and will incorporate the event into the agendas of visiting media; Digital will prominently feature information about PST: LA/LA on DiscoverL.A.’s website, social media channels and e-communications, and is hosting Key Opinion Leaders to drive increased social conversation; and, short-haul advertising will be pushed both domestically and in Mexico. Nearly 25% of visitors to PST: LA/LA are expected to be non-locals.
