AAPI Joy - Central Library (May 18)

Taking place from 11am to 4pm at the Central Library in Downtown LA, AAPI Joy is a day-long celebration of LA's diverse AAPI communities. Highlights include an opening performance by Kaulana Hula, LA Taiko Ichiza, traditional Cambodian and Korean dance, Tai Chi, lei-making workshop, and Tales of Asia & the Pacific Islands with storyteller Barbara Wong.

Justin Timberlake - Kia Forum (May 17-18)

Justin Timberlake brings The Forget Tomorrow World Tour to the Kia Forum on Friday and Saturday, May 17 and 18! JT's first tour in five years is in support of his sixth studio album, Everything I Thought It Was. Tickets on sale at Ticketmaster.

Youn Yuh-jung - Academy Museum (May 17-18)

The Academy Museum is presenting a retrospective series of Youn Yuh-jung, an irreplaceable, one-of-a-kind actor in the history of Korean cinema, celebrating the remarkable array of work she has crafted over the fifty-plus years of her career. Since her film debut in Kim Ki-young’s Woman of Fire (1971), Youn has refused to compromise her practice to serve the patriarchal systems which dominate the majority of mainstream cinema in Korea. Youn will appear in-person for the screenings of Minari on Friday, May 17 and Woman of Fire on May 18.

Rumors: Chinatown Block Party (May 18)

Guy Gerber’s popular party series, Rumors, returns to Chinatown’s Central Plaza on Saturday evening. Dance as the sun sets to the sounds of Gerber and British artist SG Lewis. Tickets on sale at Dice. For groups or VIP tables, DM Dice on Instagram.

"Everything Everywhere All At Once" - Academy Museum (May 12)

Michelle Yeoh, who is one of the 2024 recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, is featured in a 4K screening of her historic Oscar-winning performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once on Sunday, May 12. Tickets are on sale at the Academy Museum website.
