Once upon a time, while Amy Pressman, founder of Short Order, was busy perfecting her dream burger restaurant for opening, she was presented with the idea of having a bakery inside the Original Farmers Market. Amy trained at Spago with her friend and partner Nancy Silverton, and baking was her first love. Today, the baked goods at Short Cake represent some of the best of American desserts and Amy’s passion - classics like chewy ginger cookies and dark chocolate chip cookies, chocolate cake, and apple pie. They are prepared by a team of passionate bakers who are committed to using the best ingredients you can get your hands on.
