At Mayura, food is inspired by the authentic home cooking of beautiful, spice-rich Kerala. Mayura's food is prepared for you with devotion, love, and the finest ingredients. Due to historical diversity and the cultural influences, Kerala cuisines have also contributed unique vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. The main spices used are cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, green and red peppers, cloves, garlic, cumin seeds, coriander, turmeric, and so on. Few fresh herbs are used like curry leaf, and the occasional use of fresh coriander, cilantro and mint. For Kerala fish curry we use only kodampuli (Garcinia Cambogia), as sour sauces are very popular in Kerala.
