The Galley’s reputation has kept it open since 1934—making it Santa Monica’s oldest restaurant and bar. The décor is nautical New England all the way, complete with a captain’s wheel at the entrance, porthole windows and thick-roped nets. The fare is classic surf-‘n’-turf, including "famous" East Coast littleneck clams, fresh fish, pasta and vegetarian dishes and eight tasty steak selections, such as a 12-ounce filet mignon.
