Don’t leave LA without trying a margarita at this landmark Mexican-American spot, family owned since 1931. There is always a friendly crowd on the patio enjoying the nachos and salsa. The inside is kitschy but somehow homey. The mix of locals, rockers and tourists is fun. Try the Mexican pizza, a Coyote combo or a green corn tamale.
