One of the several LA-area Venetian Italian offshoots of the Locanda Veneta/Ca’Brea founders, this sprawling structure within walking distance of Universal Studios has charm and good food going for it. You’ll find premises-made salami on its salumeria plate, pumpkin mezzaluna as good as it gets, and savory coniglio (free-range rabbit) wrapped in house-cured pancetta and braised in vin santo.
