Bangkok West may serve "ordinary" Thai food (from both traditional and fusion menus), but it’s well-known for it, which should tell you all you need to know. The ambience is warm, romantic and peaceful. And the fantastic, healthy fare, which includes pad Thai, crisp whole striped sea bass and roasted duck (not to mention a whole host of vegetarian options) is all priced so low it’s almost unreasonable.
