Literary Death Match — called "the most entertaining reading series ever" by the LA Times — is teaming with the masterminds at the Los Angeles Review of Books for a night to remember featuring enough star-power to illuminate the Hollywood sign 12x over.
4 authors will read their own work for 7 minutes or less, then be judged by 3 all-star judges who respond to the work before choosing 2 finalists to compete in the LDM finale — a vaguely literary game (think Pin the Mustache on Hemingway) to decide the ultimate champion.
Literary Merit: Diablo Cody, screenwriter of Juno, Young Adult and Jennifer's Body

Intangibles: Stephen Tobolowsky, author of The Dangerous Animals Club who's appeared in over 100 films
