Students in Chicano Studies 7 will be exhibiting their artworks for the 11th annual student altar exhibition at East Los Angeles College. The altars or “ofrendas” will commemorate various aspects of religion in ancient Mexico, including the Mesoamerican culture, Mexican Revolution and Soldaderas, immigration, historical women, GuadalupeTonantzin, and traditional family cultures.
