LACO's 24th Annual Silent Film event
Join Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra on Saturday, June 8 at 7:00 pm for their 24th Annual Silent Film event. The evening features Buster Keaton’s Our Hospitality (1923) with music composed by Carl Davis and conducted by Timothy Brock and Walt Disney’s Hungry Hobos (1928) with music composed and conducted by six-time Emmy-Award winning composer Mark Watters. Both scores are performed live by Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra.
Academy® Award-winning actor, Dustin Hoffman serves as honorary chairman and Hanna M. Kennedy and Roger L. Mayer are co-chairmen. Following the films, the Chamber Orchestra hosts a supper party under the stars on the Ahmanson Terrace outside Royce Hall for VIP patrons.

Buster Keaton’s Our Hospitality (1923) is a comic take-off on the Hatfield/McCoy feud in the Old South, with music composed by Carl Davis.
Walt Disney’s Hungry Hobos (1928) is a newly discovered and restored Oswald the Lucky Rabbit cartoon short, with music - commissioned by Disney - composed by Mark Watters,. The short pre- dates Mickey Mouse and is one of the earliest Disney cartoons.
