Waking Up with Sam Harris

This fall, Sam Harris will stage a series of live events—in Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco—to coincide with the publication of his new book, Waking Up: A Guide to Spirituality Without Religion. Each event will be held in a state-of-the-art theater and consist of a lecture and extensive Q&A. Everything will be recorded, and the footage will be edited and combined with supporting material to produce an online course. All attendees will receive a special edition of Waking Up, a signed bookplate, a download of the unabridged audio book, and full access to the online course. A catered cocktail reception will follow each talk.

The 10-time Grammy winner who gave us the feel-good hit “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” continues to explore uncharted musical territory with his latest album Spirityouall, a far-reaching collection of jazz, rock, and blues-inspired spirituals. From his collaborations with Yo-Yo Ma and Chick Corea, to conducting projects with the Vienna and New York Philharmonics, McFerrin is a restless seeker who—happily—takes us along for the ride.
