800 W. Olympic Blvd, 800 W. Olympic Blvd, 0

8:00pm

David Gray has established himself as one of the UK's leading music artists both at home and overseas. With nearly 12 million in album sales, David's commercial success is also backed up by a critical consensus and countless accolades, including a GRAMMY and a BAFTA nomination, as well as two Ivor Novello awards for songwriting. His acclaimed album White Ladder featured the hits "This Year's Love," "Babylon," "Please Forgive Me," and "Sail Away. " This kick started the release of his now 10 acclaimed studio albums and a multitude of world tours, which has cemented his status as one of the greatest confessional songwriters of the last two decades. His latest album Mutineers debuted in June 2014 and is credited as his most captivating work to date. David turned to producer Andy Barlow (Lamb, Elbow) to craft the songs on the album, which started a new chapter for the storytelling of which Gray is known. David is currently on North American Tour in conjunction with the release through the fall. Please join us in the Clive Davis Theater for an evening with David Gray, featuring an interview moderated by Vice President of The GRAMMY Foundation and MusiCares Scott Goldman, and performance.

Both the EP and the full length, each produced by GRAMMY Award-winning producer and Warner Bros. Records chairman Rob Cavallo, showcase the power and prowess she’s earned as a performer from earlier times barnstorming the country — “250 shows a year, driving around the country in a tiny van.”  That’s the standard she and Cavallo took to the studio.
