Fowler Out Loud always closes the school year with a bang, and this year will be no exception! Come celebrate the end of the 2012–13 academic year with The Ten Thousand (who have opened for Portugal The Man, Shiny Toy Guns, and Haim, among others) as they fill the Fowler amphitheater with their rockin’ music, energy, and fun. Opening for The Ten Thousand, and returning to the Fowler for the second time this year, will be The Wes Coast. Please join us at 6 pm for hands-on activities, giveaways, and surprises. The following activities will take place in the courtyard from 6–7 pm, so make sure to come inside the museum for refreshments and fun! The performance will begin at 7pm. All free and open to the public.

The Night of the Ad Eaters
Music has been called the universal language, but it’s got nothing on advertising! Marketers around the world play to the same human desires with the same sales techniques, yet still manage to create ads that are distinctive - and often wildly entertaining. For more than 30 years, "The Night of the Ad Eaters" has screened jaw-dropping advertising from around the globe, including North and South America, Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa. These classic and contemporary spots offer something for everyone, with both celebrities and ordinary Joes hawking everything from cars and clothing to booze and sex in a riotous cavalcade of commerce. Join us for highlights from this amazing touring program! www.adeater.us
