Comedy A-Listers Come Together for the RIGHT to LAUGH
Ray Romano, Wanda Sykes, Bob Odenkirk and Billy Gardell headline fundraising event for Los Angeles foster youth

Hollywood’s comedy elite are joining forces with Los Angeles’ leading children’s legal advocacy organization, the Alliance for Children’s Rights, to present an evening of laughter at The Avalon in Hollywood on Thursday, May 30, 2013. The 4th Annual the RIGHT to LAUGH comedy event will include performances by:

Ray Romano (Everybody Loves Raymond)
Wanda Sykes (Rio)
Billy Gardell (Mike & Molly)
Bob Odenkirk (SNL, Breaking Bad)

More than 500 guests from the entertainment, corporate and philanthropic communities will attend the red carpet event, which kicks off with a cocktail reception. After hilarious standup sets, the RIGHT to LAUGH committee will dedicate the 2013 the RIGHT to LAUGH Award to an entertainment legend (to be named). A silent auction with exclusive prizes will round out the evening.

Peter Benedek (United Talent Agency), Gene Stein (Berman Braun), Wendi Trilling (CBS Entertainment) and Kymberly Marciano-Strauss (Kymberly Marciano Photography) chair the event with support from committee members Amy Yasbeck, Amy Landecker and Ed Begley, Jr., among others.

For tickets, tables and sponsorship information, visit kids-alliance.org or contact Marlene McGuirt at [email protected]. All proceeds benefit the Alliance’s work to advocate for the education, healthcare and other critical resources abused and neglected children need to be successful in school and in life.

“Laughter for a good cause is hard to resist!” says Peter Benedek.
