Andaz Debuts "Andaz Taste" with Bar Nine

Experience the "Andaz Taste" with Bar Nine on Saturday, February 13th at 10 AM at Andaz West Hollywood. 

Curated by the experts of Culver City’s local coffee roaster, Bar Nine, guests and neighbors will enjoy a complimentary cupping of flavorful hot and cold brews at the hotel’s first “Andaz Taste” event, a monthly series highlighting local flavor and innovators.  

Learn about the coffee brewing process, insightful pairing recommendations, and taste the complex flavors of roasts from around the world as Bar Nine’s own coffee expert leads the tasting. Following the sampling, guests of the event will receive a 20% off voucher for bottomless brunch at Andaz’s Riot House Restaurant.  Choose from a selection of farm fresh eggs, house-made pastries, fluffy Belgian waffles, and more (regularly $26 per guest). 

This event is open to all guests and locals.  Discounted valet parking will be available for $7.  No RSVP is necessary.

WHAT:  On Saturday, February 13, 2016** and Sunday, February 14, 2016, West Hollywood’s olive oil oasis, FIG & OLIVE Melrose Place, celebrates Valentine’s Day with a four-course prix-fixe dinner ($79*), comprised of exclusive menu items that highlight the seasonally-driven tastes of Winter, including endives, hazelnuts, and clementines. FIG & OLIVE’s feast also transports guests around the world with wine pairings ($35*), featuring varietals harvested in the Valencia, Loire, and Napa Valley regions.

In addition to FIG & OLIVE’s signature selection of Crostini, the restaurant’s prix-fixe courses and wine tastings include:

Foie Gras – fig chutney and toast; paired with Chenin Blanc from France

Chilean Sea Bass – lemon, thyme, carrot, asparagus, celery root purée, roasted potato, charmoula mascarpone, harissa olive oil emulsion; paired with Chardonnay from the Santa Lucia Highlands

Filet Mignon – rosemary, thyme, garlic, barley risotto, chanterelle mushroom, manchego, mascarpone, and Arbequina olive oil béarnaise; paired with Chardonnay from Napa Valley

Clementine Vacherin – meringue, white chocolate mousse, and clementine sorbet; paired with Muscatel from Spain
