Uniting Northern and Southern India on one stage, Divine Vibrations will feature noted santoor artist Pundit Tarun Bhattacharya of North India and violinist Aishu Venkataraman of South India in the ancient art form of jugalbandi ("tied together"), a duet performed by musicians of different instruments and styles. Presented by The Music Circle, the evening will feature percussionists Guru Vinod Venkataraman, Vidwan Abhijit Bannerjee, Ravi Balasubramaniam and Kajajeyan Pararasasegaram, and will include an improvised santoor and dance piece featuring Sanchita Battacharya.
