PAUL TAYLOR DANCE COMPANY
“In the beginning there was Martha Graham, who changed the form. Then there was Merce Cunningham, who showed us dance’s heart. And then, Paul Taylor, who let the sun shine in.” – Laura Shapiro, Newsweek
The 59-year-old dance company, led by the still-inventive legend Paul Taylor, has performed in more than 540 cities in 64 countries, as well as garnering Emmy and Academy Award nominations. Few, if any, companies have shared their vision with so many across the reach of time. In this engagement, the company is presenting a diverse program that will include work by minimalist composer Morton Feldman.
