Spotlight: Josh Ritter (SOLD OUT)

The GRAMMY Museum

800 West Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90015

1:00pm

Idaho born singer-songwriter Josh Ritter has been called one of the "10 Most Exciting Artists Now" by Entertainment Weekly and one of the "100 Best Living Songwriters" by Paste Magazine. His sixth studio album The Beast In It's Tracks was released in March and debuted at #22 on the Billboard 200 and #8 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums. In addition to this commercial success, the album continues to receive widespread critical acclaim— NPR Music calls it, “…gorgeous and glorious,” while Pitchfork praises, “Beast is contemplative and forgiving, a means of burying one relationship to commit to another, and Ritter nicely evokes the excitement and resignation of such a transition.” In celebration of the album Ritter & The Royal City Band are currently in the midst of a North American tour. Please join us in the Clive Davis Theater for a special discussion with Ritter about the tour, as well as the making of the album. After the discussion, moderated by GRAMMY Museum Executive Director Bob Santelli, Ritter will perform.
