Jazz and Dance Performance with Phil Ranelin and Tony Testa

Inspired by the exhibition Noah Purifoy: Junk Dada, Tony Testa and Phil Ranlin have joined their artistic forces to create a jazz and dance performance in the galleries as a special performance during Andell Family Sundays. Tony Testa is a  renowned international choreographer, artistic director, and creative activist. Phil Ranelin is a master trombonist of the J. J. Johnson tradition and former Freddie Hubbard sideman.

2015 Sundays Live Audition Winner, Violinist Yu Eun Kim

Violinist Yu Eun Kim began her studies in Korea and graduated from the Seoul National University before coming to the United States to attend USC’s Thornton School of Music, where she received her graduate certificate studying under Midori Goto. Concertmaster of the USC Symphony, Yu Eun Kim was a semifinalist in the Buenos Aires International Violin Competition and won both the concerto and Bach competitions at USC in 2014. She is the winner of 2015 Sundays Live audition.
