This film follows the lives and careers of two remarkable artists, dancers, choreographers and actors Carmen de Lavallade and her husband Geoffrey Holder. Holder is a Trinidadian-born, award winning director, costume designer, choreographer, dancer, actor and prolific painter and sculptor. This event is free and open to the public. Take your own Blues Road Trip across the interactive map to trace the blues migration and paint about the blues history, musicians, songs, styles, and cultural influences of the geographic regions.
We are accepting any mediums for this competition, and no limit on hanging. $25 per piece, with a chance to win some great cash prizes, great judges, and to be featured during our music nights in April for our Jazz Month.
