“sleeping beauty and her winter knight” – a panto play

Pasadena Playhouse

39 S. El Molino Ave., Pasadena, CA 91101

4:00pm

It’s Aurora as you’ve never seen her!  This traditional British Panto is perfect for the whole family, with a cast straight out of Nick and Disney to delight the kids, and special appearances Zena Warrior Princess (Lucy Lawless herself) to tickle your funny bone. What’s a Panto, you ask?  If you’ve never seen one, you’re in for a treat!  They’re traditional British Christmas time theatrics for the whole family – a classic tale told through a star-studded cast with lavish sets and costumes, and intermingled with contemporary pop hits and humor.  With a live pony, interaction with the audience and contemporary music from Jessie J’s “Domino” to John Legend’s “All Of Me,” Pharrell Williams “Happy” to Survivor’s “Eye of The Tiger” and more, this is one not-so-traditional holiday tradition you’ll love.

Pantos are known for their interactive fun – for example, the purchase of a “golden ticket” allows any kiddo ages 12 and under a special on stage moment as part of the show.
