Bridging experimental sound, orchestral music and pop hooks, the Brooklyn Philharmonic’s celebrated new artistic director conducts an evening of Brooklyn’s most adventurous new music. Central Market was the 2009 break-through album for Tyondai Braxton, a conceptually and sonically big, multi-movement work by an artist who often works alone or with the prog-rock band Battles, but here enlisting an orchestra.
