He’s bringing the progenitors of the form — Calvin Cooke, Aubrey Ghent, Chuck and Darick Campbell — center stage for an evening of infectious, uplifting music.  Opening the concert is the Otis Taylor Band. Taylor is a brilliant blues songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who started in music in the late ’60s and ’70s, giving it up for a while to become an antiques dealer.  He’s been back in music now for over a decade creating some of the most powerful, hypnotic blues around.
