San Antonio Winery
The last of what was more than 100 wineries in LA, the Riboli Family has been making wine here since 1917. Tours of their historic operation and an estate tasting flight are enough to satisfy, but they also have a boutique wine store, gourmet restaurant and gift shop.
Melting Pot Food Tours: Market/Third Street Food Tasting Walking TourYou can taste LA’s delectable treats and feel no guilt doing so thanks to the calories you’ll burn walking between the tour’s Brazilian, French and Japanese restaurants, a tea emporium and gourmet groceries.
Six Taste
Each of Six Taste’s tours make multiple stops in the city’s favorite food-focused neighborhoods, explaining the origin of the cuisine you’re munching along the way. Try imagawayaki in Little Tokyo, tapas in Santa Monica or coconut-cream cups in Thai Town.
LA Food Works
It’s a rare occasion when a meal you make yourself tastes better than restaurant fare, but LA Food Works makes it possible. Groups receive detailed instruction while they cook in one of three beautiful, homey locations, then enjoy the fruits — and vegetables and meats and desserts — of their labor.
