Van Nuys Airport (VNY) is ranked as the world's busiest general aviation airport and averages nearly one-half million takeoffs and landings annually. More than 100 businesses are located on the 730-acre airport, including six major fixed-base operators and numerous aviation service companies. Dedicated to noncommercial air travel, VNY also serves as home to numerous companies that provide aviation support activities.

 

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, along with other elected City leaders and airport officials, recently unveiled the architectural vision design concept for the west side of the Tom Bradley International Terminal and midfield concourse at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
